IT will not be a "Blue Christmas" in Kidderminster this year because the Halesowen Hound Dog Mark Summers is holding a one off concert at the Town Hall.

Mark Summers is regarded on both sides of the Atlantic as one of the best Elvis impersonators working today frequently winning awards and performing to sold out venues across the world.

The King's beloved Priscilla Presley even endorsed him after recently meeting him as did Elvis' friends The Memphis Mafia.

Dudley News:

He said: "I am back in Kidderminster as the Young Elvis Presley with my band the Memphis Sons on Friday, December 9.

"My one off Elvis Christmas show will be packed with his greatest hits including some of his favourite festive songs."

This year Mark has followed in Elvis' footsteps by travelling to Germany where he has been filming a documentary and videos about the American's time in the US Forces.

He has also been a winner at The National Tribute Awards for the third year in a row and is preparing for a world tour next year.

Mark added: "The music will have you up dancing in the aisles as this is the ultimate Elvis tribute show, this is my fifth show at Kidderminster Town Hall and the atmosphere is always brilliant.

"The show will have a selection of costumes made in the USA from the same people that made Elvis’ including a gold jacket which was on display at Graceland."

Tickets for the Friday, December 9 Elvis Christmas show cost £12.10 and for more information visit www.kidderminstertownhall.org.uk.
