THE borough’s Operation Santa appeal is in need of children’s games this year.

Thousands of new toys, books, games and clothing items are donated to the Dudley Council for Voluntary Service campaign each year to help make Christmas brighter for disadvantaged kids across Dudley.

But this year has seen a shortage of games gifted to the appeal.

Anyone able to donate games for youngsters aged three and upwards can get in touch with appeal co-ordinator Eileen Fielding at Dudley CVS by calling 01384 573381 or emailing volunteer@dudleycvs.org.uk.

Donations of books, toys, craft items, children's clothing, sweet treats and stationery items would also be welcomed and can be dropped off at Geoff Hill Electrical Superstore in Amblecote High Street, Amblecote, near Stourbridge.
