THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between March 10 and 15:

Jeven Kapoor, aged 30, of Spring Parklands, Dudley, was fined £368 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on February 9. When tested, he had 57mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for failing to stop after an accident. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £36 and £135 court costs.

Ben Walker, aged 24, of Foxdale Drive, Brierley Hill, was fined £230 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on October 8, 2016. When tested, he had 156mlgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80mlgs. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence or insurance. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Adeel Khalid, aged 28, of Golden Hillock Road, Dudley, was fined £250 for driving without a licence or insurance, in West Bromwich in February 25. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Ross Andrew Hierons, aged 38, of Summer Street, Lye, was given a six month community order for stealing 10 packs of sirloin steak, worth £71.68, from Waitrose, Stourbridge, on March 11 and breaching a criminal behaviour order. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Elliott Roy Alwyn Manley, aged 26, of Ruiton Street, Lower Gornal, was fined £80 for possessing cocaine in Oldbury on February 26. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £100 court costs.

Samantha Truslove, aged 27, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing items worth £387, from shops in Dudley between March 2 and 13, while subject to a conditional discharge. She was given a two year criminal behaviour order and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Peter Michael Walker, aged 38, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 25 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing items, worth £449, from shops in Dudley between March 1 and 13. He was also sentenced for being drunk and disorderly in Dudley on March 3. He was given a two year criminal behaviour order and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Tyrone Dale Sadler, aged 25, of Long Meadow, Rowley Regis, was given a 12 month community order for damaging four double-glazed windows in Wednesbury on January 14. He was fined £145 and must pay compensation of £370, a victim surcharge of £85 and £200 court costs.

Sheunopa Uno Maphosa, aged 38, of Mace Street, Cradley Heath, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for two years, for driving while disqualified and without insurance in Warley on February 18. He was also sentenced for obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must carry out 80 hours unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £115 court costs.

Lee Newman, aged 31, of Clent Road, Stourbridge, was fined £120 for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, in Stourbridge on December 27, 2016. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Raja Sharaz, aged 31, of Central Drive, Lower Gornal, was sent to prison for 168 days for assaulting two women in Netherton on December 13, 2016 and causing £1,445 worth of damage to property in Netherton, between December 2, 2016 and January 16. He was also sentenced for assaulting a man in Dudley on January 13. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.
