A STOURBRIDGE-based coach company has bought three new coaches to meet demand for its travel services.

Leading West Midlands coach hire firm Greenline Coaches Ltd, which was established in 2010, was supported with £500,000 funding from Santander Business Bank.

The funding has enabled the family-run firm to buy three new 49-seater coaches - each equipped with air suspension, toilets, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and drinks facilities - to grow its coach holiday, private hire and day tour business.

Matthew Smith, relationship director at Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “We’re delighted to have been able to support the team at Greenline Coaches for the past two years and help them to grow their fleet to meet the increase in demand.

"The company has clear aspirations to continue its growth and becoming even more successful – not just in the West Midlands, but throughout the UK and we look forward to working alongside them as they achieve this.”

Andy Phillips, managing director at Greenline Coaches in Wollescote Road, said: “Our ethos of putting the customer first has proved to be very successful in putting our company firmly on the map for great holidays, day tours and private hire in the Black Country.

"We would like to thank Santander and our customers old and new for supporting the growth of the business.”
