COMEDY queen of the Black Country – Doreen Tipton – is bringing her new show to Stourbridge Town Hall for a two-night run next year.
The self-confessed “lazy cow” will be performing Rise of the Yam-Yam on Monday March 12 and Tuesday March 13.
In her latest show - combining stand-up, sit-down, video surprises and music - Doreen sets out to challenge Darwin with her very own Theory of Evolution.
Tickets went on sale on Friday, and are expected to sell out quickly.
Peter Jordan, Dudley's halls and venues manager, said: “We're very pleased to welcome the Comedy Queen of the Black Country back to Stourbridge next year for two performances of her latest brilliant live show.
“Tickets for Doreen's dates with us at the town hall earlier this year flew out and we're expecting a similar response this time."
Doreen has become a household name across the region since her first Youtube video, Doreen’s Story, went viral.
She is the reigning Midlands Entertainment Personality of the Year, voted by readers of What’s On magazine.
Doreen was also crowned Best Newcomer at the Great British Panto Awards in London and has also been listed in the top 10 fastest rising comedy stars by entertainment website ents24.
Tickets, priced £16 plus booking fees, are available online from www.boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling 01384 812812.
