YOUNGSTERS can enjoy three days of free intergalactic fun at intu Merry Hill’s pop-up planetarium.

Narrated by Hollywood sci-fi legends Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor, the planetarium will allow aspiring astronauts to explore the outermost depths of space in a fully immersive 360° theatre.

Visitors will also be able to learn about the power of the sun and experience the thrill of a space rocket launch.

Rob Pickersgill, marketing manager at the Brierley Hill shopping centre, said: “We can’t wait for families to see what we’ve got in store for them this half term.

“We know our pop-up planetarium experience will put a big smile on the face of any budding young astronaut.”

The planetarium will open between 11am and 4pm from tomorrow (Thursday, February 22) to Saturday (February 24) on the lower mall near H Samuel.

Access will be on a first come, first served basis.
