THREE former soaps stars will star in Wolverhampton Grand Theatre's production of Ladies' Day.
The exuberant comedy about four likely lasses who take a day trip to the races will run at the popular theatre from July 13-28.
Cheryl Fergison, who played Heather Trott in EastEnders, Deena Payne who spent 18 years portraying Viv Hope in Emmerdale and Emma Rigby, who shot to fame playing Hannah Ashworth in Hollyoaks, will be joined by Roisin O’Neill and Sean McKenzie for the show, which features the music of legendary singer Tony Christie.
Adrian Jackson, chief executive and artistic director at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, said: “The casting for Ladies’ Day is very exciting, bringing together a variety of talents from stage, screen and the music industry.
"I look forward to working with the cast and creative team to make something very special for the people of Wolverhampton and beyond.
"This production will be created here at the Grand Theatre and I look forward to sharing it with everyone in July.”
