FORMER classmates who left High Park School in Wollaston in the late 70s are invited to a school reunion next month.
The get together for those who left the Park Road West school in 1977, 78 and 79 will be held at The Royal Oak pub, Amblecote High Street, on Saturday May 12.
Organiser Andy Houlston said: “It was originally a reunion for 1978 leavers who will be 50 this year but after enquiries from other years it is now open to 1977 and 1979 leavers too.
“It is 34 years since some people have seen each other and the response has been good so far with some people coming from as far as Weston, Plymouth and even Ireland.”
Wollaston DJ Ian Humphries, who attended the school, will be entertaining old school pals with a disco at the event.
