DUDLEY South's MP was joined by the Prime Minister’s Parliamentary Private Secretary and MP for neighbouring South Staffordshire at a Kingswinford manufacturing and engineering business.

Chris Kelly took fellow Conservative Gavin Williamson to meet Pressvess Limited and Eurocrane (Euro Electrical & Mechanical Limited) managing director Roger Bannister at the companies’ Kingswinford facilities.

Mr Kelly said: “I was pleased to welcome the Prime Minister’s Parliamentary Private Secretary and Member of Parliament for neighbouring South Staffordshire, Gavin Williamson, to Dudley South, where he joined me visiting Pressvess Limited in Kingswinford to see how this growing business is winning more orders - both domestic and export - and hiring more employees under the leadership of managing director Roger Bannister, of Wordsley.

“Gavin will be feeding back his findings to the PM who, I have no doubt, will be very impressed by what he hears back from our borough, not least how Pressvess is winning greater export orders all of the time.”

Mr Williamson said: “I was greatly impressed by Pressvess during my recent tour of its factory in Kingswinford. It is fantastic to visit a business, such as this, which is so aggressively expanding and that is leading the way in the development of new products and new technologies.

“Local businesses, such as Pressvess, are ones that we should be incredibly proud of and it is important that we continue to do all that we can do to support their growth and expansion.”

Mrr Bannister said: “I was delighted to welcome both Chris and Gavin to Pressvess to see what we do here in the Dudley borough. We are very busy at the moment, with the largest workload that we have seen in front of us since we started in business and we have now reached a record 50 employees.”

Pressvess stands for pressure vessels, which the company specialises in.
