FREE advice worth up to £2,000 will be available to local small businesses across the Kingswinford area under a new Government initiative.
Lloyd Evans, who runs TaxAssist Accountants in Kingswinford and is a member of global accountancy body ACA (The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales), will be offering small businesses the opportunity to take part in the Growth Voucher project.
The initiative, which is being jointly run with the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the Cabinet Office, as well as ACCA and other organisations, will see up to 15,000 small businesses receive a maximum contribution of £2,000 from the Government to seek advice and professional support across five key areas - sales and marketing, management and leadership, access to finance, employment relations and making the most of digital technologies.
Mr Evans said: “This initiative is aimed at businesses with less than 50 employees and will provide valuable advice from professionally qualified accountants to help small businesses look to grow, whether that be through accessing finance, exploiting the assets within the small business or through looking to export to new markets.
“We’ve been providing specialist advice to the local small business community for more than 12 months, so the Growth Voucher scheme is an ideal project for us to be involved in.”
TaxAssist Accountants operates across Kingswinford, Brierley Hill, Halesowen and the surrounding areas.
