MALVERN-based Pulsar Process Measurement Ltd was recognised in Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce's awards.

The 2014 awards ceremony was held at the Bank House in Bransford, celebrating business excellence in the region.

Pulsar Process Measurement Ltd was awarded the Excellence in Innovation Award for its Flow Pulse non-invasive flow monitor and the £1.5 million it has saved Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water.

The Flow Pulse pipe flow monitor is a recent addition to Pulsar Process Measurement’s pump control, level and flow measurement instrumentation portfolio.

It has been favoured in UK water companies for its ease of use, simple set-up and cost savings.

Alistair MacKinnon , Pulsar’s director of sales and marketing, said: “We pride ourselves on helping to innovate the processes involved within the water industry. This award is incredibly prestigious and we are extremely happy to see our innovation recognised.

"Research and development is the lifeblood of Pulsar and innovation is in our DNA - it is the driving force of all our business operations.”

Later this year, Pulsar Process Measurement will launch a new product, which will incorporate remote site monitoring, asset management and alarm monitoring within one compact system for the water and waste water industry.
