CAROLINE Cooper of Blackheath-based Roman Bathrooms has been shortlisted for the second year running for a national award, recognising design skills in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom sector.

She is one of only three designers shortlisted for the Bathroom Designer of the Year award, sponsored by Airflow, and awarded by the national trade association the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA).

“I am delighted to have been selected as a finalist for this award, which showcases the very best talent in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom industry,” said Ms Cooper.

The winners of the KBSA Designer Awards will be announced at the KBSA annual meeting, which will be held at the Welcombe Hotel, Stratford on Avon on September 23.

Ms Cooper will also have the opportunity to become an overall winner if she is selected from all the design category winners to become the KBSA Designer of the Year. That award is sponsored by Omega.

KBSA's chief executive Graham Ball said: “We had double the amount of submissions this year and the standard was very high. There was an amazing amount of real talent on display and those who made the shortlists can be rightly proud of their skills and expertise."
