ONE of Worcestershire’s oldest law firms has retained its prestigious Lexcel status.

The Worcester based HallmarkHulme secured the Law Society’s quality mark following an assessment process and on site visit from a Lexcel assessor.

Designed specifically for the legal profession, the scheme gives assurance that a practice meets high standards of client care and business management.

Rebecca Widdowson, managing partner, said: “We’re delighted to have retained this accolade – though it is our clients who are the main beneficiaries as they can feel confident that the practice runs efficiently and has their interests at heart.”

Andrew Caplen, president of the Law Society of England and Wales, said: “By undergoing the Lexcel application and assessment process, practices can show the practical steps they are taking to help clients in an increasingly diverse legal services market.”

HallmarkHulme is among 1,500 legal practices across the country to receive the accreditation.
