INTRODUCTION of the new Tax Free Childcare scheme (TFC) has been delayed until 2017.

This means that the existing Childcare Voucher Scheme, which allows parents to reduce childcare costs by 32 per cent, is still open for new members at Redditch Professional Tuition.

Families with one working parent can benefit and both parents receive help if they are both working.

You can remain a member of the existing scheme until your children attain the age of 15 or your employer closes the scheme.

You can change to the new TFC scheme in 2017 if you wish.

Self-employed parents will have to wait until 2017 when the new TFC scheme is introduced as they are excluded from the current system.

A spokesman from Redditch Professional Tuition said: "Act now and join your employer’s childcare voucher scheme.

"Existing members can retain their benefits until their children are 15 but parents joining after 2017 must join the new TFC scheme which only includes children up to the age of 12.

"If your employer does not operate a scheme then ask them – it’s simple. They can save on National Insurance contributions.

"At Redditch Professional Tuition we welcome childcare vouchers and many of our parents enjoy reduced tuition fees."
