Imagination Street look to Jump ahead of the competition Kevin Grubb and Matt Jinks, the co-owners of Imagination Street Children Soft Play Centres have a spring in their step after unveiling plans to create a unique mega centre for kids and adults of all ages on their site in Redditch.

The site in Astwood Bank, Redditch has been the home to one of the largest Soft play and party centres in England for 3 years (it was opened on November 25th 2012) . The proposal, which will start the planning approval process at the start of December, will see a new purpose built facility added on to the current Imagination Street and will house a state of the art Trampoline park.

The Trampoline Park of approximately 10,000 square feet will have multiple trampoline bays, dodge ball courts, assault courses and sport zones. It will also have multi-functional rooms to hold parties, classes and meetings. If successful the new venture will see the creation of up to 30 full and part time jobs and create a valuable resource for the local communities of Worcestershire and beyond.

It is planned to offer adult fitness classes, dodge ball leagues, toddler sessions and will also work with local groups for people with disabilities to see how they can also benefit from the centre.

Kevin Grubb enthused, “We are incredibly excited to be able to show to our existing, and future customers, this ground breaking concept in children’s entertainment. We want Imagination Street to be the go to destination for children of all ages and also adults too.”

It is believed that there are very few, if any, sites like this in the UK where such a wide range of activities exist in one place.

Matt Jinks said, “We have always tried to be ahead of the game and this is another example of that philosophy. We hope that the local community and authorities will support this venture and make it a reality for the children to enjoy for years to come.”

As part of making the venture a shared community facility Imagination Street are inviting ideas from the public on what it should be called. The person who comes up with the winning name will win a special prize.

The planning permission will be submitted at the start of December and it is hoped that the Trampoline Park will be open by the Summer of 2016.
