A HAGLEY accountancy practice has marked its 25th anniversary by joining forces with a Stourbridge-based firm.

DHH Accountants has merged with Baldwins Accountants, becoming the New Road group’s fifth acquisition in the last five weeks.

Nick Webb, of DHH Accountants, said: “We have become established as specialists in accounts, taxation, business advice and support services and this move into the Baldwins group will take our firm to the next level.

“Baldwins has further invested in its tax, corporate finance, banking and payroll teams to support its growth which means our clients will have access to their specialists in these departments.

“We both consider it important to give our customers value added services and by bringing our teams together in one office in Stourbridge, we will be providing access to the wide range of financial services which businesses need to grow whatever their sector or size.”

Staff have now moved from DHH’s Worcester Lane office into Baldwins’ Stourbridge base.

Mark Craddock, a partner at Baldwins Accountants in Stourbridge, said this merge marks “an exciting time” for the business.

He added: “We are growing all the time to add to our expertise and investing further in towns and cities where we are already located or opening offices in new places.

“Stourbridge is a great place to work and has a thriving business community and by investing in the town by joining forces with DHH Accountants, we will be helping to improve economic growth.

“DHH Accountants has a strong and growing client base particularly in the family owned business sector.

“Four other offices in Coventry, Oswestry, Ilkeston and Shrewsbury joined Baldwins Accountants last month and the deal with DHH Accountants underlines our focus on maintaining our expansion plans.

“We are looking forward to continuing to develop our presence in Stourbridge and helping our new and old clients achieve their business goals.”
