BRAVE workers at a Dudley store gritted their teeth for charity as their colleagues paid to wax them.
Employees at the High Street's Argos store decided to do the sponsored wax and shaving event to raise money for Leukaemia Research, which is the chain's chosen charity.
Four brave men stepped forward to have their legs or chest waxed, while two employees decided to have their heads shaved, including stock room employee Edna O'Shaughnessy who allowed for her shoulder length hair to be shaved off for the blood cancer charity.
Cash office co-ordinator, Jane Shaw, said: "The day went really well, we haven't had all the money in yet, but so far we have raised over £800.
"We did it in the store so customers were paying to have a go or watch us do it.
"We all paid £1 a strip to wax the men, it was great fun!"
