Traditional night of fun at the museum
THE Black Country Living Museum is putting its final touches to its bonfire without a bang event on Saturday night.
The traditional family-orientated event at the Tipton Road museum will feature a roaring bonfire, entertainment, hot roast chestnuts and the fairground.
Visitors will be able to wander the streets of the canalside village, which will be lit by candle and gas light, with street entertainment including fire jugglers and stilt walkers, as well as a brass band, barrel organs and a Punch and Judy show.
Museum favourites Fizzog Productions will also be giving a special performance to light the bonfire.
Tickets for the evening, which runs from 6.30pm until 10pm, cost £14.95 per adult, £11.95 per senior and £7.95 per young person and are pre-book only through the museum’s ticket office on 0121 520 8054 or via the museum’s website at bclm.com.
Additional charges apply for fairground rides and car parking.
