A 36 YEAR-old Dudley man has been jailed for 26 weeks at Dudley Magistrates Court for possessing a machete in a public place.
Appearing in court on October 24, Choudhary Tasnim Rashid, of Blowers Green Road, was jailed for possessing the weapon in Nanaimo Way in Kingswinford on July 18, during an incident which also involved setting dogs loose among vulnerable animals.

Also in court on October 24:

Richard Jamie Edwards, aged 27, of Chapel Street, Pensnett, was fined £200 for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £525 and handed eight licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.
He was also fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for driving without a valid test certificate.

Ian Holyoake, aged 34, of Northfield Road, Netherton, was fined £525 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being handed eight licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

Stephanie Richardson, aged 24, of Swan Street, Netherton, was fined £525 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

Ashley Wright, aged 19, of Rosalind Avenue, Woodsetton, was handed a six month community order and ordered to pay £200 compensation and £200 court costs, for assault.


In court on October 22:

Aftab Hussain, aged 27, of St Marks Road, Dudley, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £60 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 12 months, for taking a vehicle without consent which was also involved in an accident.

Raja Naveed Hussain, aged 29, of Hilderic Crescent, Holly Hall, was jailed for six weeks for assault.
The defendant was also jailed for six weeks concurrent for assault.

Artur Biela, aged 30, of Summerfield Road, Dudley, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £600 and handed eight licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

Adam Thomas Hackett, aged 24, of Baptist End Road, Netherton, was fined £36 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £110 and handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

Matthew Hancox, aged 20, of Surrey Road, Dudley, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

Mohammed Mateen, aged 28, of Elmfield Road, Dudley, was fined £65 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £40 costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.


In court on October 23:

Christine Anne Taylor, aged 62, of Short Street, Dudley, was fined £70 and ordered to pay £25 compensation, £20 costs and £25 court costs, for using threatening, abusive words or behaviour.

Aishah Manir, aged 26, of Malthouse Drive, Dudley, was fined £60 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £40 costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for stopping a vehicle on a toucan crossing.

Mark Anthony Mellor, aged 34, of High Oak Road, Pensnett, was fined £35 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £80 court costs, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £35 for driving without a valid test certificate.
He was also fined £110 and disqualified from driving for six months, for driving without insurance.


In court on October 25:

John Moses, aged 49, of Queens Street, Pensnett, was fined £200 for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.
The defendant was also fined £400 and ordered to pay £15 and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for six months, for driving without insurance.

Christopher Derek Alan Hancox, aged 33, of Leys Crescent, Brockmoor, was fined £135 and ordered to pay £200 compensation, £20 costs and £85 court costs, for damaging a window.


In court on October 26:

Lorna Slater, aged 23, of Dibdale Street, Dudley, was handed a restraining order and fined £110 and £15 costs, for breaching a restraining order.

Steffan Aaron Frederick Debattista, aged 20, of Boundary Hill, Lower Gornal, was fined £60 and ordered to pay £15 costs for driving without a valid test certificate.
