BRIERLEY Hill fitness instructors from Team Taylor Health & Fitness will be holding a Zumba-style 80s disco this Saturday (November 10) to help raise money for Children in Need.
People across the borough are invited to take part in the event which will run from 4pm to 5pm at the Team Taylor studio - unit 17, Premier Estate, The Leys.
Organiser Nicola Taylor said: “As fitness instructors we wanted to come up with something fitness based but also different.
“Children in Need began in 1980, so 80 is our theme. We will be using music from 1980, dressing in 80s disco style clothing and we hope to get 80 people taking part aged from one-year old up to 80-years-old.”
It costs £5 per person to take part. All proceeds will go to Children in Need.
The event is expected to be filmed by the BBC as part of the official Children in Need show, which will air on Friday November 16.
