FIVE fire crews battled a severe fire in Pedmore.
The blaze occurred in the roof of a terraced property in Wychbury Road yesterday afternoon.
Crews from Stourbridge and Brierley Hill attended, but soon called for back-up from Dudley, Oldbury and Tipton, with firefighters able to contain the fire in the roof space.
Firefighters also used four breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet and all persons were accounted for.
The cause of the blaze was accidental.
