A MIDLANDS children’s hospice will be donated a soft toy for every letter to Santa posted at Merry Hill’s Disney Store.
After statistics show less children are writing letters to Father Christmas in the weeks leading up to Christmas, staff at the Disney Store are hoping to bring back some of the festive magic this year.
The shop is holding free letter writing workshops, where children can create their letters and then send them to Santa via the store’s magical post box.
For every letter posted in the box, a Disney soft toy will be donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Teresa Tideman, joint managing director, Disney Store Europe says: “Supporting our local communities is very important to The Walt Disney Company, particularly at this special time of year.”
