LIVE music and singers will entertain shoppers on Saturday in the countdown to the annual Christmas lights switch on.
The festive event will run from 1pm until 4.30pm and will be hosted by radio DJ Porky, with entertainment provided by borough singers and Birmingham Performing Arts Academy.
The switch-on will take place at 4.30pm when the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Melvyn Mottram will join Father Christmas on stage to illuminate the town’s lights and tree.
Councillor Tracy Wood, cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “The lights switch on event will be full of festive entertainment and I’m sure lots of families will tjoin in with the fun.”
