AGE UK Dudley has welcomed its 1000th new client to its Shopmobility service.
Kay Benbow, who signed up to the service earlier this month was presented with a bouquet of flowers for being the charity’s milestone customer.
The charity took over the running of Merry Hill’s Shopmobility 12 months ago, allowing shoppers with limited mobility to hire wheelchairs and powered scooters during their shopping outing.
Electric wheelchairs and scooters can be reserved up to seven days in advance and no prior booking is required for manual wheelchairs.
