THE Mayor of Dudley is inviting borough residents to join him in celebrating Christmas during the traditional civic carol service next week.
The annual event is this year being held at Christ Church in Church Road, Coseley, on Thursday December 20, from 7.30pm.
The service, which will be led by Reverend Heather Humphrey, will also include performances by Dudley Young Voices, VTime and In Sound Company Choirs.
A retiring collection will go towards the Mayor’s charity appeal in aid of Dudley Stroke Association and Diabetes UK- Stourbridge, Dudley and District Support Group.
Councillor Melvyn Mottram, Mayor of Dudley, said: “We always get a good number of people helping us celebrate Christmas at the traditional Civic Carol Services, and I hope to see more of you this year.
“What better way to start Christmas than with a few carols.”
Refreshments will be served at Christ Church CE Primary School following the service.
