A DUDLEY playground will be raising money at Merry Hill later this month by offering to wrap up shoppers’ gifts.

Volunteers from Sycamore Adventure in Old Park Farm Estate, will be in the upper mall, by Next on Sunday 16 December from 11am until 5pm, Thursday 20 and Friday 21 between 6pm and 10pm, to beautifully wrap presents in exchange for a small donation.

Kelly Reed, marketing manager at Westfield Merry Hill said: “Perhaps you have an odd shaped present that you don’t know how to wrap or perhaps you just don’t have time to spend hours wrapping presents – either way, Sycamore Adventure are here to offer you a helping hand!

“All donations will go straight to the adventure playground so why not show your support and get all your Christmas wrapping done for you!”

The play facility, which opened in 2010, offers a wide range of varied and specialist play opportunities and educational workshops for children and young people from across the borough, including a state of-the-art sensory room, a desert island complete with sand pit, a community camp with tepees, a cantilever swing and a purposely built play barn.
