DUDLEY residents can meet the mayor, tuck into a mince pie and help raise money for charity on Friday.

The borough’s first citizen will be hosting the annual Mayoral coffee morning from 10am until 12.30pm in the Mayor’s parlour at the Council House.

All proceeds raised will go towards the Mayor’s charities of the year - Diabetes UK: Stourbridge, Dudley and District Support Group and Dudley Stroke Association.

Councillor Melvyn Mottram, Mayor of Dudley, said: “The Mayor’s coffee morning is always very well attended and raises some much needed funds for charity.

“I hope people can join me for some refreshments and give what they can to some very worthwhile causes.”
