BRIERLEY Hill Musical Theatre stars are gearing up to take theatregoers on a magic carpet ride with their forthcoming production of Aladdin.

The popular pantomime, which sees Aladdin granted three wishes by the genie of a mysterious lamp, will run at Brierley Hill Civic Hall, Bank Street, Brierley Hill, from Saturday January 12 to Saturday January 19.

Evening performances, starting at 7.15pm, will take place on January 12, 17, 18, 19; matinees will be held on January 12, 13, 19 and will start at 2.15pm.

On Wednesday January 16 the society will be taking to the stage solely for under-privileged youngsters across the borough as part of Dudley CVS’s Operation Santa appeal.

More than 600 free seats have been made available for the children for whom the festive season may not usually be full of joy.

Tickets for the show cost £9.50 and £10 (£10-only on Saturday January 19).
