A 24-YEAR-OLD Dudley man has been ordered to pay £1,750 compensation to a borough police officer for resisting arrest.

Appearing in Dudley Magistrates Court on December 11, Aaron Brian Harry Grice, of Myrtle Road was also handed a 12- month community order.

The defendant was also handed a 12-month community order, for wilfully obstructing a police officer by releasing himself from the rear of a police car.

Craig Williams, aged 40, of Sycamore Green, Dudley, was fined £300 and ordered to pay £30 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 12 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

Stephanie Marie Walshaw, aged 19, of Broome Road, Dudley, was handed a 12-month community order and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £400 court costs, for assaulting a police officer.

The defendant was also handed a 12-month community order and ordered to pay £50 compensation, for assaulting a police officer.

Ashley Aaron Law, aged 26, of Forest Road, Dudley, was handed an 18-month community order, for stealing three packs of boxer shorts, worth £24, from Asda.

David Paul Elespe, aged 31, of Hallchurch Road, Dudley, was handed a 12-month community order and ordered to pay £298 compensation, £60 costs and £85 court costs, for stealing two Bosch drills, worth £298 from Clas Ohlson.

The defendant was also handed a 12-month community order and ordered to pay £149 compensation, for stealing a Bosch drill, worth £149 from Clas Ohlson.

Mark Andrew Rollason, aged 27, of Quarry Brow, Upper Gornal, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £141 compensation and £15 costs, as well as £85 court costs, for stealing meat from Sainsburys.

Ryan Louis Edwin Burrows, aged 20, of Holly Hall Road, Dudley, was jailed for 16 weeks, for assault.

Azhar Khalil , aged 32, of Uplands Road, Dudley, was fined £82 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £100 costs, for making a false statement.

David Mundon, aged 43, of Fullwood Crescent, Dudley, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £295 costs, for making a false statement to obtain Job Seekers Allowance.

Paul Colin Lyman, aged 64, of Musk Lane, Gornal Wood, was fined £250 and ordered to pay £20 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 12 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

Elaine Elizabeth Lewis, aged 39, of Oak Street, Netherton, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £200 compensation and £15 costs, for destroying a window, a wing mirror and a rear wiper on a Ford KA.
