STAFF at Dudley’s Wilkinson store are offering a helping hand to community groups and charities in the area.
The High Street Store is appealing to any group which needs help, whether physically or monetary to get in touch.
Whether the group benefits young people, families or the elderly, Dudley community members can apply to the store for a cash donation, a donation of Wilkinsons’ products or help from team staff, who are willing to volunteer their time to help a project.
Carol Ballinger, store manager, said: “The Helping Hands scheme is an initiative where funding is provided to support local projects, directly benefitting the lives of people who live and work close to the store.
“As a company, it’s great to be able to help local community groups and charities by giving something back to the area, whether it’s seeds to help a community garden bloom or paint for a local animal shelter, we are able to help.”
Application forms can be collected from the store and once completed, should be returned to the store’s help desk.
Successful applicants will be notified within three months of submission.
