A LOWER Gornal teenager is one step closer to achieving her catwalk dream after making it through to the finals of a nationwide model search.
Pretty Lauren Hutton, aged 14, who was spotted by scouts while visiting the Birmingham Clothes Show at the NEC, secured the most votes in her category in the public online Teen Queen UK competition, to sail through to the finals.
The Dormston School pupil is now looking forward to the next stage, which will take place at Alexander Palace in London in August.
