THE BLACK Country Living Museum is gearing up for a transport themed half term next week.
Children are being invited to swap their classrooms for the attraction’s cobbled streets, as the Museum’s Transport Discovery Trail takes time travellers back through 100 years of Black Country motoring history.
Visitors can discover fascinating facts about the region’s heritage and its links to Sunbeam’s land speed records.
Head of Learning, Mel Weatherley, said: “The Transport Discovery Trail is an opportunity to look at the development of the motor industry in the area as well as the evolution of the motor car. The trail is a new way to discover parts of the Museum’s collection which otherwise might be missed.”
