A WOMAN in Dudley has been ordered to stop using a house as a brothel after complaints from neighbours.
Cops from Dudley north neighbourhood police called at an end-terrace property on Flavell Street at around 6.30pm on Tuesday May 26.
Officers handed a 20-year-old woman at the address a notice under the Sexual Offences Act after residents complained about nuisance behaviour.
Sergeant Jim Jones, from West Midlands Police, said: "We received calls from the local residents who had concerns about numerous visitors to the address at all times during the night and day and believed the house was being used as a brothel.
"People don't want this on their doorstep and we were keen to take action. We are hopeful that this has helped reduce any anti-social behaviour the local residents must have been experiencing and we will be speaking to the landlord."
