PERFORMERS with learning disabilities shone during an evening of entertainment in Dudley which raised more than £1,000 for good causes.
The Town Hall hosted Shine, an event to raise cash for the Mayor of Dudley’s chosen charities, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and White House Cancer Support.
Highlights from the show included a performance of It’s a Wonderful World by Alex Johnson and the Sing and Sign Group from the Unicorn Centre and Bring Him Home by James Emtage, a member of Side by Side Theatre Company.
The Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Alan Finch, said: “Shine was a wonderful and inspiring evening that I will remember fondly for many years to come.
"I am so proud of every single person involved who have helped support my mayoral charities.”
