FAMILIES enjoyed some festive fun at Merry Hill last weekend when they took part in a variety of seasonal activities.
Youngsters had their faces painted, took part in Christmas cupcake decorating classes and danced to live music at the Brierley Hill shopping centre.
The premiere of Disney’s new Christmas film, Frozen, also took place at the centre’s Odeon cinema on Sunday.
Hundreds of families were invited to the exclusive screening of the festive film and tucked in to free chocolate.
Kelly Reed, the centre’s senior marketing manager, said: "We were delighted to see so many faces at the shopping centre over the weekend.
"More than 1,000 kids had their face painted and 800 made a Christmas cupcake or craft, which they got to take home for free.
"We had a fantastic turnout for our premiere of Frozen too, more than 2,000 people came and enjoyed the film."
