A MAN who stole mobile phones from two teenage brothers as they walked along a Brierley Hill street is being hunted by police.

The brothers, aged 15 and 17, were walking along Mill Street at around 7pm on Saturday December 14 when they were approached by a man who demand their phones, threatened them and told them he had a knife.

Although the teenagers did not see a weapon, they handed over their phones and the man ran off.

The offender is described as white, aged between 20 and 25, around 5ft 10ins tall, thin build, short black hair, scars on his face from spots and a thin moustache.

He was wearing dark clothing and had a hood or hat over his head.

Detective Constable Nick Slym, from Dudley CID, said: “Although neither of the brothers were hurt, this was a frightening robbery where they were threatened with violence.

“This happened relatively early in the evening and we want to hear from anyone who was out and about in the area and may have seen the man responsible.”

Anyone with information should contact DC Slym on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
