COPS hunting a man wanted in connection with a series of robberies say he may be in the Gornal area.

Detectives are appealing for information to trace Gavin Reilly who is wanted after a number of offences at shops and petrol stations across the Black Country where cigarettes were stolen.

The offences which happened between September 2013 and January this year and want to question the 34-year-old about them.

Detective Sergeant Toby Davis, from West Midlands Police CID, said: "We think Reilly is somewhere in the local area and is known to frequent the Bradley, Bilston, Tipton and Gornal areas.

"If you have seen him or can help our investigation we would ask you to get in touch as soon as possible.

"Members of the public are advised not to approach him but to contact police if they see him."
