A DUDLEY pub landlady is teaming up with a darts world champion to raise cash for a good cause.
Former champ Eric Bristow will be bringing his arrows to The Griffin, Stone Street, for a charity exhibition match on Sunday May 18.
Ahead of the visit, pub manager Natalie Walker is appealing for businesses from the region to do their bit to bring in the maximum amount for her chosen charity.
She said: “It’s for the Lymphoma Association, I had lymphoma a few years ago but I’ve been in remission now for two years. So I’d just like to give something back by raising as much money as possible.
“If there are any businesses out there who could give us sponsorship, or offer some prizes for a raffle or a prize draw, anything that can help us, we’d love you to get in touch.”
During the event selected players will be taking on the star, nicknamed the Crafty Cockney.
Tickets cost £5, for more information call The Griffin on 01384 254556.
