DUDLEY people are being urged to trace their lost pension pots in the wake of new legislation.
Chris Kelly, Conservative MP for Dudley South, says everyone should make sure that they receive all the pension payments they are entitled to.
New legislation in this year’s budget means people can get release the funds in their private pensions and Mr Kelly is urging people to make sure that any pension they have paid into benefit them and their families by contacting the government’s Pension Tracing Service.
He said: “The government is making it as easy as possible for people in Dudley and the Black Country to trace their lost pensions. I would urge anyone who thinks they may be missing out to visit www.gov.uk/find-lost-pension.”
