WORRIED Woodside Community Centre officials are urging more people to use their facilities.
Situated in the grounds of Highgate School in Holly Hall, the centre has seen their number of users dwindle in recent times.
Chairman John Bestana insisted: "We need to tell more people about ourselves and what we have to offer.
The centre is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers.
Mr Bestana added: "We can cater for 100 people at any time. We've got a fully fitted kitchen, meeting room and foyer that could be used as a cafe.
"It means we could stage parties, youth clubs and elderly citizen group lunches.
"We've also got our own gym equipment which we can hire out at a nominal fee. As long as we can cover our expenses, then we're happy.
"We just need to attract more people to the centre - otherwise it could lead to an uncertain future."
The centre are already planning to stage a World War One event in July and Mr Bestana added: "There were 73 people from the Woodside Estate involved and we'd like to set up a small museum as a tribute to them."
