Stourbridge vintage fair returns

First published in Local

HUNDREDS of people flock to Stourbridge's bi-monthly vintage fair and organisers hope May's event will be no exception.

Clothing, accessories, homeware and collectables with a vintage twist will be available to purchase from the fair at St Thomas' church hall on Saturday May 17.

A pop-up hairdressing and beauty salon will be on site to give shoppers a makeover to compliment their new purchases.

Refreshments will be served at a tea room and crochet workshops will take place throughout the event, which runs from 11am to 4pm.

Wolverhampton based Compton Hospice, will also have a stall at the event, selling a variety of interesting, collectable items from its charity shops.

Maria Kaye, who organises the fair with her friend Ella Gardiner, said: "This is a popular event, attracting more than 600 people each time. We are encouraging local traders and crafters to get involved, sell their wares and demonstrate their skills.

"We are going from strength to strength and putting Stourbridge on the vintage map."
