A DUDLEY man has appeared in court charged with two counts of distributing a terrorist publication.
Usman Choudhary, of Terry street, is accused of supplying a book entitled Join the Caravan, which it is alleged was intended to directly or indirectly encourage or induce the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
The unemployed 33-year-old, who denied the allegations, appeared at Southwark Crown Court alongside Londoner Christopher Weston, aged 26.
Weston pleaded not guilty to one count of encouraging the offence - which was said to have taken place last September.
Both men, who were arrested by officers from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit, were remanded in custody until their trial which is set for Monday July 7 at Kingston Crown Court.
