ENGLAND’S World Cup dream may be over but there is still football themed fun to be had at Wordsley’s Red House Glass Cone.

Youngsters can walk around the historic site on the look-out for the 20 footballing rubber ducks that have been dotted around.

Eagle-eyed children who find all of the ducks can hand their trail form in at reception to claim a sweet treat before designing football shirts and completing World Cup colouring sheets, wordsearches and quizzes in the upstairs gallery.

Families can also watch glassmaking demonstrations in the hot glass studio from 1.30pm to 3.30pm every weekend.

Councillor Hilary Bills, cabinet member for environment and culture said: “The duck trails are always popular, with children coming back time and again to find the ducks.

“The Red House Glass Cone is a great, free family day out and these additional activities during the World Cup are sure to be welcomed by families looking for something to do.”
