A POLICE search is under way for a pensioner who has gone missing from her home in Halesowen.
Officers are becoming concerned for Cynthia Beamond, aged 80 from Howley Grange who has not been seen since yesterday (Friday June 27).
She is described as five-feet-five, of medium build with grey, short curly hair.
Detective Inspector Jim Munro, from West Midlands Police CID, said: “We are growing concerned for Cynthia’s welfare and from speaking to her family her disappearance is completely out of character.
“She is a very independent lady and she lives on her own, we are hoping that by tracing her car we will also find Cynthia.”
Police are urging people to be on the lookout for Cynthia’s car - a silver Vauxhall Astra 1.6 registration number T419 MDA.
Anyone with information on Cynthia’s whereabouts or her car is asked to call police on 101.
