WEST Midlands Police have confirmed the woman involved in a collision with an HGV in Gornal today was a cyclist.
All three emergency services attended the incident at the junction of Burton Road and Eve Lane.
The crash happened at around 11.30am today (August 8), Jews Lane, Eve Lane, Kent Street and Burton Road remain closed while investigations are carried out at the scene.
Police say the woman suffered serious injuries, witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call officers on 101.
