DUDLEY residents will be able to quiz top dogs from public services as they face the people in Netherton.

Bosses and senior officers from organisations including the police, council and fire service will be at Netherton Arts Centre, Northfield Road, on Tuesday September 16 for a Question Time style event hosted by borough’s community safety partnership, Safe and Sound.

Visitors will have the chance to ask questions on how the partnership tackles crime, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse.

Councillor Gaye Partridge, Dudley cabinet member for community safety, said: “Face the People is a real opportunity for residents to express their views and influence what happens in the borough. Anyone who is interested in how crime, anti-social behaviour is tackled should come along to find out what is currently being done and let us know if we could be doing better."

The event will be chaired by Dudley Council’s chief executive John Polychronakis and doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

For the first time the event will have a live Twitter feed enabling people to ask questions and leave comments online.
