THE BLACK Country is set to take centre stage on prime time TV with an appearance on the BBC’s Countryfile.
Presenters Matt Baker and Ellie Harrison visited a number of sites in Dudley borough to film sequences for a show which will be broadcast tomorrow (Sunday September 7) at 7pm.
The show will feature the Wren’s Nest National Nature Reserve, Saltwells Nature Reserve, Dudley Canal Trust, Stourbridge’s Red House Glass Cone and Kinver rock houses.
Councillor Hilary Bills, Dudley cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “We were delighted to have the Countryfile team on site at our attractions. This programme will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase what the borough has to offer.”
