ZUMBA lovers will be in their element this Saturday (October 18) with a marathon session taking place in Sedgley.

The three-hour Zumbathon is being staged at High Arcal School and is open for everyone to take part.

Experienced Zumba instructor Suzanne Richardson from The Health Factory in Kingswinford is set to take charge of the extravaganza with organisers looking to make lots of money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

The Zumbathon starts at 10am with supervised children allowed to take part for the first hour.

There will also be other events taking place including a head shave, apple bobbing and other surprises with a Halloween theme - plus a fancy dress competition with prizes for those taking part.

Last year's event raised more than £2,000 for the RNLI and supporters are eager to beat that total this time.

Entry to the event costs £5 for adults and £2 for children aged 16 and under.

However advance booking is advised as previous events have proved extremely popular.
