DUDLEY borough residents can create a healthier lifestyle for themselves with the help of two free courses which are set to start next month.

Age UK Dudley are eager to encourage anyone over 50 to enjoy a better balanced diet through healthy eating while increasing their activity levels at the same time.

Their Age UK Eatwell Project starts with a community fit club which commences on Tuesday, November 4.

It comprises of a 12 week programme that includes a weekly weigh-in, support and fitness activities which takes place at Netherton Activity Centre in Greaves Road.

There's also a six week cooking course which is designed to develop skills while creating both healthy and affordable meals at the same time.

This takes place at Dudley United Reformed Church Hall in Trinity Road starting on Friday, November 7.
