DUDLEY’S mayor is hoping people with a taste for fundraising will turn out for a charity cheese and wine evening.
The borough’s first citizen, Cllr Margaret Aston, is hosting the event at Dudley Council House on Wednesday November 26 from 7pm to 9pm.
The event will feature a talk by expert Tom Keys about winemaking and samples of wines that can be made at home plus a selection of drinks provided by Sainsbury’s at Amblecote and Merry Hill.
Tickets cost £6.50 each and funds raised will be donated to the Mayor’s chosen charities Action Heart, Russells Hall Hospital, and Guide Dogs.
For more information call mayor’s secretary on 01384 815211.
